  4.      INIT and trap patch done at MacHack 1991. A simple animation replaces
  5.     _SysBeep. The animation consists of a few PICTs loaded in the 
  6.     System Heap at startup. The patch code block is stuffed with references
  7.     to the storage and installed. This file is the patch code.
  8.     
  9.      This is not an example of good practice in the Macintosh environment!
  10.     Please consider this code - well you know - a HACK !!
  11.      
  12.     NOTICE: Distribution is restricted to non-commercial agencies, Internet 
  13.     (+other unix sites) and user groups, as long as this notice remains. 
  14.     Probably to people that know what they are doing also, but then again, 
  15.     who's to say ?!

  22.   The two cool parts of this hack are as follows: the refs to the resources are 
  23. stuffed into the patch code resource; and the visual quality of the animation.
  24. No color calls & no color mapping problems. ** Currently crashes on a 68000 !! **

  26.   The animation is meant to be fresh, current and catchy. SysBeep occurs regularly, 
  27. just like MacHack, and its existance is just a bit bent, like MacHack. 
  28.   You be the judge!  No show init :(   New Think C hdrs and no hard drive conspired 
  29. to prevent addition…  Source code included, like every hack should....

  31.   By the way, I thought of this on my own, and it is a total coincidence that this
  32. year's *winning* hack was the Video Beep. ( 'guess there's a lesson here !)
